Ford F-250 2020 – Four-Wheel Drive Tow Beast

Ford are known to be highly durable and powerful vehicles that serve all kinds of purposes, but Ford F-250 is one of the most desired towing vehicles. Why is that? Well, simply as it is super-powerful (it comes in three versions), super-comfortable and super-economic! What else could you expect from a vehicle of this type? Though it might not be the best option for the snowy and rainy conditions, it is still highly functional and strong vehicle that will meet your expectations. So, what is under the hood and what does it offer? Well, it is indeed a powerful vehicle that comes with towing features that no other cars have.
Performance
First of all, this model vehicle in three different models: 6.2, 7.3 and 6.7 liters. The first comes with 385 HP, the second with 430 HP and the third with 475HP, where the maximum towing capacity has the latter model (20,000 lbs). the previous two ones come with 15,000 lbs of towing capacity, which is still pretty high. The vehicle’s payload capacity is 4,260 lbs so you can store enough tools for yourself. The maximum torque that it can achieve is 4,000 RPM, which makes this vehicle really powerful! Though it comes with a four-wheel drive system, it might not be the best option for snow as it may happen that you “slide” as there is no classic EPS system that would prevent ice-sliding for example. However, it can work in harsh conditions well in case you cannot afford any other vehicle, but we highly suggest buying Toyota Land Cruiser for heavy snow or rain!
Towing features
There are four features: Pro Trailer Backup Assist, Standard Hill Start Assist, Trailer Sway Control, Trailer Reverse Guidance. The first one is made for reverse driving – a one-click button directs your trailer in the direction you want once you start going in reverse. Just press the knob on the instrument panel and you have the assistance! The second one is activated once you are going uphill, but the engine cannot produce enough torque to drive uphill. Then this assist activates and applies brakes until the torque is achieved for an optimal drive. Trailer Sway Control reduces the sway of your towed trailer and makes the driving easier. Reverse Guidance relies on three cameras that record around and assist you by offering guidance for a proper reverse drive, which can be stressful when you have large trailers.
