CES 2008 : Report

Over 140,000 attendees came again to Las Vegas for the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show to observe the newest developments and features that companies had to offer. Produced by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), this year's show covered more than 1.8 million net square feet of exhibit space. This makes the CES show one of the largest industry tradeshows in the world.

Leader's booth was set up to showcase our RF signal generators that help television and set-top box (STB) manufacturers test the limits of their new high definition terrestrial tuners. The LG38XX line offer the tools to test tuners for ATSC (8VSB/QAM), ISDB-T (including 1seg), or DVB-T.

At this year's CES, we introduced one of our newest products. The LG3802S1-1 BR was designed with the unique Brazilian HD format in mind. SBTVD-T, a unique variation of Japan's ISDB-T, is the official standard for Brazil and is currently supported in the LG3802S1-1 BR. The unit is available today.
