NAB 2007 Report

 

 

Over 108,000 attendees were reported to have attended this year's National Association of Broadcasters' Media Show and Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. That total made this event the third largest in NAB's history.

 

Leader's booth was set-up to highlight four of our major product categories: Broadcast, Production, Post-Production, and Analog Equipment. Each station had various products that emphasized how Leader could help our customers ensure a high quality level for their products. In addition, we let visitors get a hands-on feel for our products so they could see how we are a "Technology Innovator".

 

One of our main attractions was a live set, set up in the booth, where people could try out our new Cinelite option for our newer waveform monitors. This option allows the user to measure the specific values coming from a video camera in percentage or f-stop values. This tool was designed to help Production and Post-Production folks monitor what they are recording and help ensure that they get the shot right the first time, every time.

 

In addition, we showcased our new waveform monitor, the LV5800. Created with a modular design, it can be customized to meet the unique needs of each customer. Our various stations demonstrated how the unit could be used in all facets of production. In addition, we highlighted prototypes of new cards in development including an Analog Composite Input card and a DVB-ASI (MPEG-2 Transport Stream) Input card.

 

We also had a strong presence of our global distribution network in the booth. Leader is striving to ensure that geography doesn't prevent us from providing the proper equipment to people who want the best quality picture in their work.
